When Creating a Virtual Machine I researched which Hypervisor would be right for me. I compared their features, compatibility, and performance and finally decided on VirtualBox for my Virtual Machine. Once downloaded I followed the steps that involved configuring basic settings. I defined the Virtual Machine. Giving it a name, the operating system. Then allocate the appropriate resources so that the VM runs with optimal performance. Then installing the Operating System (OS) which is very similar to when I installed it on my Personal Computer. Then I had to choose between dynamically allocated or fixed-size storage. Dynamically allocated storage saves space but can impact performance slightly, while fixed-size storage reserves the space upfront.
